Tekkie Help aims to provide services that are affordable to individual customers at home and in the work place. We balance this against the need to make enough money so that we can employ great people and cover our expenses.
Our general charge for residential customers is $140 for the first hour and $100 for each subsequent hour.

Before we visit your premises we will always try to give you an accurate idea of cost.
In some cases, particularly where we arrive at your premises and find that the job is much more difficult than anticipated, we will explain the issue and gain your agreement on our revised quotation before proceeding.
Please note that where jobs involve backing up or copying large files, this can take a considerable time, typically between 2-4 hours.
For problems which are resolved in a very short period of time (less than 15 minutes), our minimum call out charge is $95. This amount will also be applicable for “no show”/ late cancel appointments.
A diagnostic charge of $50 is applicable in instances whereby we have investigated a faulty piece of equipment, provided a quote to repair it, yet you do not wish to proceed (any visit charges will also be applicable).
Our usual operating hours for technology support at 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday. If appointments are required after hours or on a Sunday, an “out of hours” supplement charge of $50 will apply.
Our Technology Specialist will collect any amount due once the work has been completed and provide a receipt. We accept cash and cheques and will only offer credit terms by agreement at the time of booking a visit appointment. For payments not made on site, an invoice will be raised and incur an administration charge of $20.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to resolve your issue due to lack of knowledge or experience on our part, no charges will be raised for visiting your premises or any time spent there.
We want to delight and surprise all of our customers (in a good way!). So if you are not satisfied with our service, please get in touch and we will do all we can to make it right.
If we have assisted with software or network problems, we guarantee our services for 30 days and should the same issue reoccur, we will come out and fix it free of charge (providing no changes have been made to any settings that we have previously configured). Our hardware repairs have a 3 month warranty on the specific parts we have replaced or repaired. If you notify us within the stated time period, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional cost.
